Why We Gather

When you gather in a worship service, sitting under the Word of God and singing praises to God, there is something spiritually potent that occurs in that gathering. Each Sunday morning, we gather corporately as one local expression of Christ’s body. We do so to celebrate and lift high God and what He has done in our lives and in our community. We worship God through five aspects: The preaching of God’s Word, singing songs of exaltation, responding appropriately to the Holy Spirit, taking communion together, and giving offerings to support God’s work at Reata Springs and to the ends of the earth.
